How does VitalMeds work?

1. Complete your consultation
Share your health history, current medications, symptoms, lifestyle, and treatment goals through the secure online platform.

2. Receive a provider evaluation
A licensed healthcare provider reviews your information and determines whether treatment is medically appropriate. Additional information, laboratory testing, or a telephone or video consultation may be requested when clinically appropriate.

3. Begin treatment when prescribed
If a prescription is issued, it is sent to an independent licensed pharmacy for fulfillment and delivery. Patients can complete follow-ups and communicate through the patient portal.

Who provides the medical care?

Medical services are provided by independent licensed healthcare providers through Baluga. Providers are responsible for evaluating patients, determining diagnoses, recommending treatment, ordering laboratory testing when appropriate, and making all prescribing decisions.

Do I need a prescription?

Yes. All prescription medications require a valid prescription issued by a licensed healthcare provider after an appropriate clinical evaluation.

VitalMeds does not sell prescription medications without a prescription.

Does completing the consultation guarantee a prescription?

No. Completing the consultation or submitting payment does not guarantee that treatment will be approved or that a prescription will be issued.

A licensed healthcare provider will determine whether treatment is medically appropriate based on your health information, current medications, clinical criteria, and applicable prescribing requirements.

Can medication be prescribed through an online consultation?

When permitted by applicable law, a licensed healthcare provider may prescribe medication after completing an appropriate clinical evaluation. A provider may request additional information, laboratory testing, or a telephone or video consultation before making a treatment decision.

Review the Safety Information provided with your medication and contact your provider with treatment-related questions.

How long does prescription processing take?

What is the cancellation policy?

You may request cancellation before your next renewal by contacting VitalMeds support or using the cancellation option available through your account.

Cancellation requests submitted after a prescription has been sent to the pharmacy or medication preparation has begun may not stop or refund the current order. Cancellation prevents future eligible renewals and does not automatically refund completed services or fulfilled prescriptions.

What is the refund policy?

If treatment is not medically appropriate and no prescription is issued, the temporary authorization will be released and you will not be charged for treatment.

Prescription medications cannot be returned or reused. Once a prescription has been transmitted to the pharmacy and the medication has been prepared or dispensed, the applicable charge is generally nonrefundable, except as described in the Refund Policy for dispensing errors, damaged shipments, or other qualifying circumstances.
